UPQ Full-Size Loudspeaker
The Meyer Sound UPQ series comprises self-powered, full-range loudspeakers renowned for their high power-to-size ratio and consistent, uniform coverage. Designed for versatility, the series includes three models to accommodate various applications:
UPQ-D1: Offers an 80° horizontal by 50° vertical coverage pattern, suitable for broad listening areas.
UPQ-D2: Features a 50° by 50° pattern, providing focused coverage and minimizing interactions with walls and adjacent speakers.
UPQ-D3: Delivers an 80° by 80° symmetrical coverage, ideal for applications requiring wide horizontal and vertical dispersion.
Each model incorporates a 15-inch neodymium magnet cone driver and a 4-inch diaphragm compression driver, ensuring low distortion and high output. The integrated two-channel Class D amplifier provides a peak power of 1,800 watts, delivering a linear peak SPL of 133 dB.
The UPQ series is engineered for both portable and installed sound reinforcement, making it suitable for front-of-house applications in small to mid-sized venues or as fill speakers in larger systems. The enclosures are compatible with Meyer Sound's QuickFly rigging options, facilitating efficient deployment.
