Yamaha S90 ES
The Yamaha S90 ES Synthesizer combines a stunningly natural acoustic piano sound with all the sonic flexibility of the award-winning MOTIF ES. The piano keyboard uses a new multi-velocity, stereo grand piano sample with soundboard simulation and half dampening (when used with the FC3 pedal) that is incredibly rich and realistic ” the best Yamaha has ever put into a synthesizer.
Kurzweil PC88
The PC88 is a self-contained portable keyboard that features quick and intuitive access to 64 (and optionally more) internal sounds derived from Kurzweil’s renowned ROM samples. It can produce up to 32-note polyphony in full stereo, and lets you layer as many as 4 sounds at once. Built-in reverb and chorus are also provided, and there’s a sophisticated on-board arpeggiator for composing and performing.
Kurzweil N364
The Korg N364 is a music workstation synthesizer that is based on the proven Advanced Integrated System, or AI2, synthesis engine by Korg. It offers users eight megabytes of sample ROM and features 936 programs and combinations. These include 430 Multisounds, along with 215 drum sounds. The Korg N364 also has polyphony with 64 voices and it was the first keyboard ever from Korg to feature Real-time Pattern Play and Record. This allows users to record and save their musical phrases in the form of patterns that can then be triggered with an assigned key. Unfortunately, the Korg N364 lacks sampling features, but it does make use of a 16-track sequencer capable of a maximum event capacity of 32,000.

Yamaha DX7s

Its preset sounds became staples of 1980s pop music, used by artists including A-Ha, Kenny Logins, Kool & the Gang, Whitney Houston, Chicago, Phil Collins, Luther Vandross, and Billy Ocean. Its electric piano sound was particularly widely used, especially in power ballads. Producer Brian Eno mastered the programming and it was instrumental to his work in ambient music.
